Mr. Sang Holds A BSC in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi and an MBA(Financial Services Sector) from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom. He also holds Diploma in Banking (ACB) and Financial Studies Diploma (DipFS) qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London, where he is also a Fellow.

He has served with the Kenyan Government and Kenya Commercial Bank Ltd for a total of 29 years, rising through the ranks to directorship level for a period of 8 years at both Credit and Corporate functions. He is currently in private business in the auto industry and is also the non-executive chair of postal corporation of Kenya.
